Retrieving RPS Data in a Workfile
RPS data can be retrieved from a workfile that has been created from an insurance company assignment or from a workfile that was created, and then sent back to the insurance company. This feature allows you to submit an RPS Request by supplier, or by zip code radius. When the by Supplier option is selected, a screen opens that allows you to add vendors to the vendor list. Selecting the by Zip Code Radius option allows you to use the default range and zip code values. The default values are created in the Recycled Parts Services option of the Claim office profile. Changes that are made using this option are applied only to the workfile you are working with.
Note: This feature is not available if the estimate has been locked. You will need to create a supplement first in order to use this feature.
